Kathleen Kubik is a native New Yorker. She was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and for the past 36 years has been a resident of Rockland County. She and her family are also part-time residents of Montauk and they, along with friends, enjoy their time together on the East End of Long Island. She has traveled extensively and most often, vacations for Kathleen and her husband are spent aboard a cruise ship visiting different ports of call. One such cruise provided the inspiration to write "Neither Sand Nor Sea." She enjoys playing bridge and watching old movies, and likes to dabble in interior decorating. Of course, reading is one of her passions and she is an active member of The Writing Salon, a group of New York writers who gather bi-weekly to critique each other's work. Kathleen supports any worthy charity that works to help the needs of animals, particularly the North Shore Animal League. Her other favorite is Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
She is currently writing her second novel and plans to write a sequel to "Neither Sand Nor Sea."
